Nuclear Power
Joseph Oat Corporation is the oldest continuously operating industrial fabrication business in the United States and has possessed the ASME Section III Nuclear “N” Stamp for Class 1, 2 and 3 equipment for almost fifty years. Since 1966, Joseph Oat Corporation has designed and fabricated safety related shell and tube heat exchangers, pressure vessels and specialty weldments to the majority of domestic nuclear power stations and many other plants throughout the world. More recently, Joseph Oat has supplied these plants with upgraded and replacement equipment, including new equipment mandated by the Nuclear Regulatory Commission. Additionally, Joseph Oat is a key supplier of equipment to the new plants currently under construction.
Joseph Oat Corporation is also a recognized industry leader for the design and fabrication of equipment that complies with ASME Section VIII standards. Since the inception of nuclear energy as a commercial use for power, Joseph Oat Corporation has been a proven source for quality safety and non-safety related equipment that complies with customer specifications and rigorous tolerance requirements.
Our Engineering Department offers innovative heat transfer solutions to problems facing industry by offering technologically superior designs which are industry tested and commercially attractive. We can reverse-engineer equipment to meet specific performance criteria within spatial limitations of existing building and interferences caused by other equipment.
